The Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT) will conduct a comprehensive review of the Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC) framework and the broader development approval ecosystem to improve efficiency, transparency and sustainability.
Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming said a dedicated task force will be established to modernise the system through digital integration, reduced bureaucracy and stronger service delivery while safeguarding public interests. PAM will be invited to contribute industry expertise to the reform process.
Nga also highlighted Malaysia’s achievement of over 500 million square feet of green-certified buildings and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to sustainable urban development. At the event, he was honoured with the prestigious PAM President’s Award and announced a RM30,000 contribution from KPKT towards the Kuala Lumpur Architecture Festival (KLAF) 2026.
