We demand an answer from the government whether the approval to increase the post charges up to 100% with effect from 1/7/10 is to cover the losses suffered by POS Malaysia for the 1st quarter of this year which is the shocking RM546 millions!
It is imperative for the government to reconsider such hike as it will inevitably post a heavy burden to the general public, the lower income group & especially the non profitable NGOs. According to former chairman of POS Malaysia, Tan Seri Adam Kadir, he had all the evidence of how POS Malaysia suffered such a huge loss but up to to date our Anti Corruption Commission still fail to inform all Malaysian tax payer how could a GLC enjoying a monopoly status can suffer such a big loss.
