Press Statement by Lim Guan Eng in George Town on Tuesday, 9th February 2010: Dissolve the Perak State Assembly and return power to the people by holding fresh elections DAP expresses deep disappointment at the Federal Court’s unanimous decision that Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir is the rightful Menteri Besar of Perak following the defection of 3 Pakatan Rakyat ADUNs towards BN on 4 February 2009. The Federal Court decision is contrary to the basic democratic principle that a government must be elected by the people.
