执政者唯有公义与公平 天下才会归心

太平区国会议员倪可敏今日呼吁执政者把公义与公平列為执政原则，唯有公义如江河淘淘、公平如大水滚滚，天下才会归心、百姓才会心服口服。
倪氏指出，政治是良知工作，注重私利的别有居心者一旦掌权，濫权腐败必再三浮现，因此现代民主国家皆须设立一套健全的監督机制以捍卫民生民权。他说，贪污腐败、种族主义、专制独裁、司法不公、濫权渎职等都是国家的敌人，身為老百姓大家都有责任去纠正乱象。
也是行动党州秘書的倪氏今日受邀出席此间卫理公会广东堂主办的<基督徒与政治>讲座会上如是表示。该讲座会由我国著名时评人兼文桥总干事黄子主持，另一名主讲人為马华前州议员拿督何启利，该讲座吸引了数百名公众出席聆听，现场座无虚席。
倪可敏坦言，我国各族人民应基于国家利益緊密配合全力响应两线制，捉緊国家改革千载难逢的契机, 為华社杀出一条血路、开拓一片新天地。“308大选后，许多民众的政治意识巳大幅提高，政冶工作者不能再混水摸魚，這是一种进步。”他强调。
倪可敏指出, 25年前华社空前团结推出《1985年全国华团大选宣言》, 当時华社梦寐以求的就是希望打破一党专政让我国早日出現两线制，可惜当時未获马来社群响应；最终功敗垂成，华社权益始终原地踏步。倪氏说，“1999年，全国1292个华团联署《全国大选诉求》, 虽然当時马来社会史上首次掀起改革風潮，华社求变却不积极，最终又功亏一篑, 始终無法开创新政治格局。去年308大选，我国在期待漫长的52年后终于盼到了曙光, 我国首次出现了多元种族政党组成的新联盟, 民联的出现及两线制的形成将是华社翻身最后的机会。他坦言，一旦错过，隨着华人人口下滑，华社可能再也等不到如此际遇。”
倪氏指出，从诗巫补选成绩来看，基督徒社会巳开始改变，他们不再独善其身，反而积极走入社会、领导社会，面对不公不义挺身而出，這符合耶苏教导基督徒必须成為社会的“光”和“盐”的精神，基督徒唯有发光发热才会赢得更多人的尊重。

i attended the 22 may 2010 talk at church and i am totally agreed with what u said.
just bear in mind that, a leader, particularly DAPs’ leaders must not only ALWAYS talk about stuff like fighting for fairness/justice for CHINESE only. why i say so bcos, DAP has been tagged as a ethically orientated political party by BE END.
if u wanna reign the country in the coming PRU13, means u must obtain support from all races.
i called DAP hotline (016-2208867) several times to share my views. foloowing is 2 recent issues i think is usefull:
1. How to stop Be End from luring/ buying frog?….create some arguement among PRs’MPs and then send some frogs (Be End is desparate for another 4 frogs to have 2/3 majority) to them. grab whatever benefits offer by them (2 mil or more as anwar said?). these frogs just do not support Be End when the right time comes, those frogs can jump back to PR.
SO, BE END WOULD NOT KNOW WHICH FROG IS TRUE FROG AND THEY MIGHT STOP HUNTING FOR FROGS ANYMORE.
2. HOW DAP OR PAS CAN CHANGE THEIR IMAGE AS TAGGED BY MAIN STREAM MEDIA?
my suggestion is just let PAS fight for chinese needs and vice versa. for example, just ask PAS leader to fight for equal treatment/subsidy to chinese school and DAP support at the back. the same can DAP do, fight for malays needs and let PAS support at the back.
if this really happen, it is really 1 MALAYSIA, where both BE END and PR are not doing!!
my suggestion (item 1) sound not that “righteous” way but bible did tell us to be conning as a snake in handling things. anyway, hope that my suggestion is useful to u.

another suggestion from me….
why dont form a group/ fellowship which solely for christians to meet up?
from my observation, 90% christians are JUST DONT CARE about politics. christians population (all races) is not small but they are silent majority.
if we have such a fellowship which can organise regular meeting/ activities, we are not only can gather our strength and influance, but also political awareness among christians.
i actually wanna voice out this during 22 may QnA session…….i really hope that night meeting is a begining, not an end.
The PR must be able to deliver goods and show to the rakyat that it can outshines and outperforms in the states controlled by the PR compared to the states controlled by BN. actions are more important than words. walk the talk and you can get more votes.
it is easy to ask for GOODS than walk the talk,….the whole corrupted system was run by BE END for 52 years, not easy to have drastic change unless sack the whole administrative team.
PR even do not have suitable candidates during PRU12, what can u expect them to improve?
giv PR more time and dun expect situation change instantly.

i suggest PR use : ONLY PR IS ONE MALAYSIA….in order to fight back and also use back the slogan…..
