太平缆车须环保发展同份 行动党要政府公佈环境评估报告及完整大蓝图
DAP Taiping today demands that the BN State Government must reveal to the public the comprehensive development plan of Bukit Maxwell or Bukit Larut to ensure the sustainabality of the millions old virgin forest which is one of the Taiping most precious common heritage. The 3.5 KM long, RM65 million cable car project developed by Taiping Cable Car Sdn Bhd is only the beginning but it needs more attractive tourism product to shape the beauty of Taiping town, which has 32 No.1 item in Malaysia. The State Government is obliged to inform the people of Taiping the detail of the proposed development as the people has the right to know.

太平区国会议员倪可敏今日呼吁州政府向太平市民公佈拉律山发展环境评估报告及完整大藍图以保全亿万年雨林珍贵遗产的同时吸引百万名遊客往太平观光。
倪可敏今日在太平火箭国州议员服务中了心指出，民联执政时期倡导的太平山缆车计划终于正式签约，這对太平旅遊业是的项正面的发展，但是单靠缆车及现有的旅遊设施并不足于把太平打造成一流的旅遊城市，州政府必须吸引投资者兴建具国际水准的景点以发挥太平古迹旅遊城的潛能。
倪氏指出，根据他在国会向部长的询问，太平区本年度将获得960万拨款提升旅遊设施，无论如何，這项杯水车薪的拨款远不足于把太平打造成国际旅遊中心。根据民联州政府当年的构思，耗资6500万、长达3.5公里的太平缆车只是开始，政府须对拉律山拥有低密度全盤开发的理念，包括兴建五星级渡假村，使游客来太平吃、住皆賓至如归。当时的构思包括设计雨林探险、水疗中心、养生馆、高级餐厅等，在保全太平雨林的原始美又不忘现代化的经济发展。為了实现两全其美的方案，他呼吁州政府向太平市民公佈拉律山发展环境评估报告(EIA Report)及完整大藍图以保全亿万年雨林珍贵遗产的同时吸引百万名遊客往太平观光。
倪氏表示，太平拉律山是全体太平人共同拥有的珍贵遗产，州政府若真的以民為本，公佈拉律山发展环境评估报告及完整大藍图以听取太平人民的心声是正確的做法。“我们相信政府应有完整大藍图，除非州政府连发展藍图也沒有。”他说。
出席今日新闻发佈会的太平区行动党领袖包括十八丁支部主席蔡长山、阳光计划服务队队长黄再兴、后廊新支部主席刘长一、太平区社青团团长郑国霖及新板支部主席黄木义等人。
