国会文告-倪可敏炮轟马大开民主倒車
(吉隆坡 20 日讯)
行动党太平区国会议员倪可敏今日炮轟马来亚大学当局在国内高等学府散播白色恐怖, 以莫须有极無聊的罪名审问大学生, 這与大学提倡走入社会, 领导社会的理念背道而驰.
今日马大召集8名学生展开马拉松式的审讯,其中主要罪状包括马大华文学会于今年9月8日主办的辩论赛邀请民联雪州行政玫员郭素沁及马华中委王乃志进入校园担任评判及马大回教学生理事会邀请民联雪州议员聂阿兹米為常年大会主持开幕. 聂阿兹米当时為了躲避大学保安人员的刁难更偷骑电单車潛入校园主持大会开幕典礼.听证会之前三席展延, 今日却正式开审.
倪可敏也是马大辩论队前队長.他今自在国会发表文告指出, 大学生是时代的眼睛、社会的良知, 马大校园如果故步自封,這不但是现代大专学府旳笑柄, 国会為国内各大学提供的145亿庞大开销更是辜负了广大人民的期望.
倪氏指出, “全球知名大学诸如哈佛、剑桥及牛津等皆鼓励辯论及公开对话的知性活动, 马大全球排名只居195名应当见贤思齐而非大开倒車.他指出, 国陣正副部長自由进出校园, 巫统女青年及少青团更不时往大专学府召收党员, 校方却视若無睹, 這又从何说起?”
為了维护马大校誉,倪可敏呼吁高教部指示马大撤销全部莫须有罪状, 同时知错能政向全国人民公开道歉.
