將引入更多外勞馬‧印大橋沒經濟效益
太平區國會議員倪可敏認為，全長127公里及耗資450億令吉的馬印大橋，除了沒有經濟上的效益，也將為大馬引入更多外勞，並成為國家的大白象。
“由於馬印與馬新大橋的情況不同，馬新大橋可引來新加坡人民的消費，但馬印大橋的情形恰好相反。”
倪可敏週一（9月21日）出席太平和平議會所策動的2009年國際和平日慶典開幕儀式時，指在國家面對13年來最嚴重的國債，即2000億令吉之際，國家不應興建這道全球最長，以及大馬建國史上耗費最大的長橋。
他說，這項大橋計划是由馬六甲政府成立的公司承建，沒有經過競標。
他說，最近出爐的世界投資報告顯示，大馬雖然在外資的投資排名榜上名列第9，但所引入的資金只占全球總投資額的0.6%，即80億美元而已。
“令人感到擔憂的是，流出大馬的資金卻高達120億令吉，這是大馬25年來面對的資金流出危機，因此，政府應關心如何引入外資，而非大肆搞燒錢活動。”
